Zachary Torres

Zachary is currently pursuing as Masters in Critical Curatorial and Conceptual Practices at the Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at Columbia University. Prior, he received his Masters of Architecture at the Boston Architectural College. He is a graduate of Boston University where he studied Architectural Studies, French, and Visual Arts. Zachary’s Master’s thesis focused on the phenomenology of sacred space.

His current research is focused on queer space and the spatialization of immigration. His writing has appeared on Drawing Matters and in POOL LA. He has taught courses on sacred space and architectural history at the BAC and MassArt. He is also passionate about photography and has exhibited his work in Somerville, MA.
